It's been a quiet week here, watching the Olympics and not much else. Tonight I went out to dinner with a friend who did me the enormous favor of doing an editing pass on my novel, and we talked about it a lot. As I might have expected given the flawless weather this weekend, today we're back to chilly and damp--the high is only in the 60s. Such is the way of a Chicago spring, I know, but I can yearn.

My mom had sent us a ton of spring bulbs as a housewarming gift. A mole ate most of them, but the survivors are finally blooming!
